Daliya has extensive experience providing psychological support and interventions to clients across the lifespan. She has worked as a school counsellor and in private practice with adolescents and young adults. In addition, Daliya has provided psychological support to older adults in residential age care, their families, and staff.
Areas of interest: support and intervention for younger children on the Autism spectrum, family and parenting evidence-based interventions, adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loss as well as facing challenges in life transitions (for example, migrating to a new country, changes to family structure and career).
Therapeutic approaches used: Cognitive behavioral therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Person-centered approach, reminiscence therapy, and child-centered play therapy.
Daliya has a Graduate Diploma of professional psychology, Graduate Diploma of Counselling, and Master of Educational & Developmental Psychology from Monash University.
