Beenish’s area of expertise includes anxiety (social anxiety, generalised anxiety ,specific phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder) , depression, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, anger management, coping with life transitions (relationship breakdown, job loss), trauma, bullying, parenting issues, sleep issues,  and personality disorders.

 

She adopts a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches drawing on a number of therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), person centred approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness skills and solution focused strategies. She is committed to working alongside clients using various best practice psychological approaches to discover the best possible outcome for the client.

She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Deakin University and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Cairnmillar Institute of Psychotherapy.

Beenish is fluent in speaking English, Hindi, and Urdu and can conduct treatment sessions in these languages.
