Vishal is a psychotherapist, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and a graduate of Australian Catholic University.

His goal is to support his clients to identify barriers that are preventing them from living their life in their preferred way. He supports his clients by engaging with them and their own narratives and assisting them to develop their resilience and skills so that they are able to achieve their desired life goals.

Vishal worked extensively with children, young people, families and carers, and is experienced in assisting children and families through trauma, loss, abuse, violence, parenting, relationship and other related challenges in their own lives, and the lives of those close to them.

Vishal takes a systematic perspective in all his work. He is particularly experienced in addressing issues related to torture and trauma, abuse and violence in the lives of children, adults and their families, and the impact of recent and historical trauma related to war, domestic violence, interpersonal violence and sexual assault on people of all ages. His area of interest includes addressing significant complex and challenging behaviours in children under the age of 12 years.
