Winnie has completed both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in psychology and is a member of the College of Counselling Psychologists (Australian Psychological Society).

Winnie has worked in various settings such as education and vocational rehabilitation sector for individuals and families from various backgrounds. She also has a wealth of experience working with various age groups from children, to adolescents, and adults.

 

Winnie was trained in a number of different psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Family Therapy. She has completed the Certificate of Clinical Hypnosis. She has facilitating skills for clients based on cognitive behaviour therapy and assertiveness training.

Her areas of interest include: anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, stress related issues, life adjustment, additions, children behavioural problems and parenting, attachment, trauma and pre and post-natal mental health issues.

Winnie also has extensive experience conducting assessments for vocational capacity, personality and psycho-social matters.

Winnie speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Treatment sessions can be conducted in these languages.
