Winnie has over 15 years of experience as a psychologist. She is a member of the College of Counselling Psychologists (Australian Psychological Society) and a board-approved supervisor.

Winnie has worked in various settings, such as private practice, education, and the vocational rehabilitation sector. She has also supervised others within those settings. She was a clinical supervisor at Monash University for five years. Winnie has a wealth of experience working with various age groups, from children to adolescents and adults.

Winnie has been trained in different psychological approaches, including Cognitive behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Family Therapy.

Winnie’s areas of interest include anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, stress-related issues, adjustment disorder, addictions, children’s behavioural problems and parenting, attachment, trauma, and pre and post-natal mental health issues.

Winnie is skilled in psychometric assessment, including the use of measures to inform the diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, and intellectual disability.

Winnie speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Treatment sessions can be conducted in these languages.
