Brenden Wardle

Brenden is a registered psychologist who has experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan to provide psychological support.

He takes a strength-based approach to work with client’s and families and believes that each person brings a unique set of skills that will support them in their therapeutic journey. Brenden’s areas of interest include working with families and individuals and he previously worked in early parenting to support families with infants and young children with difficulties related to sleep and settling, feeding, and behavioural concerns. He also has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal challenges, and self-esteem, and he is interested in supporting parental and infant mental health in the transition to parenthood.

 

Brenden has experience working with a variety of therapeutic approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

Brenden has a Masters of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Swinburne University of Technology and he will be completing the clinical psychologist registrar program.
