Julia is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with adolescents and their families, and adults of all ages. She offers a compassionate and strengths-based therapeutic approach in working with her clients’ individual needs and goals. She has particular experience and interest in areas of adolescent mental health, perinatal mental health, those who have experienced chronic pain, as well as adjustment to cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Julia provides a holistic assessment of each client’s needs and works with her clients to set goals for attending therapy. She enjoys working with clients to use their existing strengths and learn new skills to work to overcome a range of difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, interpersonal trauma, stress management, grief and loss, adjustment to illness and chronic health conditions.
Julia can offer a range of evidence based therapies including CBT,
ACT and mindfulness based therapies, based on the issues faced
and the needs of the client.
She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne and is a member of the Clinical Psychologists Association.
