Having lived, educated and worked in Japan, UK and Australia, Hiromi has been registered as an AHPRA psychologist and working in Melbourne, mainly for private practices and primary schools since 2006.
Her clientele varies from a 4-year-old child to a 73-year-old retired person in cultural background diverse. The issues she deals are also varied from depression, anxiety, relationship matters to identity, adjustment and spiritual quest.
Her chief therapeutic framework is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She applies Interpersonal Counselling and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy frameworks when appropriate. Her strength lies in flexibility for application.
