Nishie is a registered psychologist having completed both undergraduate and masters degrees in psychology.

Nishie has experience in school psychology, occupational rehabilitation, individual counselling and mental health training programs.

She is trained in psychology assessment including Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Wechsler Adult Intelligence scale, Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence and Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System assessments. She is also trained in psychological intervention approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. She is committed to developing meaningful therapeutic alliances with all clients. 

Her areas of interest include depression, life stress management, specific phobias, anxiety disorders and child psychology. She is also a WorkCover provider with knowledge and experience in WorkCover and vocational rehabilitation.
